OUR BELIEFS

Living Word by Faith with Hope Church holds true to Biblical beliefs based on the Word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ. We share our beliefs to enlighten you of who we are in Jesus and to give you information about our church. Please read the topics below to get a clear understanding of what we believe.

God: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent and manifested in three persons: God the Father, God the Son-Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.

Eternal Father: We believe that there is one God, eternally existent and manifested in three persons: God the Father, God the Son-Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is the complete revelation of God to us-the Savior of men. He is God manifest in the flesh, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin. Jesus, although fully human, is also fully God-fully divine. His substitutionary death for our sins and resurrection from the grave is the cornerstone of our faith. He is our sinless Shepherd who desires everyone to be saved and proclaim the good news.

Holly Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is present in our lives when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit will teach us all things and will remind us what God has taught us. He gives us power to live according to the word of God and to walk in obedience with His word.

BIBLE: We believe all scriptures are the infallible, inspired Word of God and the complete revelation of God's will for mankind.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: We believe our praise toward God is expressing our joy to the Lord. We are to praise God for who He is and for what He does. We must give Him thanks and praise, believe He is a spirit and worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4: 24).
